Sometimes a humpback whale takes a look. When a whale spyhops it rises out of the water in a vertical position, sometimes revealing the entire rostrum and head. The humpbacks I have witnessed only do this for a moment, but it can last longer, if the whale is sufficiently curious. The whales eye can be above or below the surface, as it is in this video.Plenty of humpback and fin whales, dolphins, eagles, and other wildlife to be seen in Trinity Bay.
